STANISLAUS
HERGERT
Stanislaus’ paintings emerge from the tension between visual clarity and emotional openness. With his reduced compositions of color and shape he unfolds a space for memory and association.

ABOUT STANISLAUS
Stanislaus Hergert lives and works in Rosenheim, Germany.
Born in Russia and growing up in Germany the love for art became a guiding path through his biography of migration and finding a new home.
He started his professional career in Design after receiving a degree at the University Pforzheim School of Design. Later he worked in Art-Direction on various subjects.
Stanislaus’ paintings emerge from the tension between visual clarity and emotional openness. With his reduced compositions of color and shape he unfolds a space for memory and association.
The figures and objects Stanislaus depicts never fully settle into reality. They linger like fragments of memory surfacing in abstracted environments. Often it is just a moment, a glance, an object that sets something in motion. A personal story, a forgotten feeling, a vague recollection.
His work is a visual echo. A dialogue between what is seen and what resonates within.
